Abstract: I present a fully updated set of openly licensed slides and recorded lecture videos for introductory astronomy courses. In 2020, I presented at this conference to share the first version of slides and videos I created for my online non-lab astronomy courses following the openly licensed textbook OpenStax Astronomy. In the intervening years through my experiences using the materials, I have identified places I wanted to adjust the order of topics for my curriculum goals, and I have recently developed a flipped-classroom modality for our lab-based astronomy course for non-majors. Throughout Winter 2024, I overhauled my slide content to support both my online and on-campus goals as well as major updates in astronomy missions from the past few years. The new slides are split into six modules instead of seven, and each module is organized into several sections. Each section of lecture slides includes accompanying lecture notes that contain a glossary of terms, and the slides themselves have increased accessibility with full descriptive alt text on every image, links to aligned sections of the Second Edition of the OpenStax Astronomy textbook, and two to three module learning outcomes for students. All of my recorded lecture videos that follow these slides will be made publicly available on YouTube for use in Fall 2024 and beyond. The slides and additional materials (links to videos, lecture notes, spreadsheet of Alt Text data) will be made available in the OER Commons repository. My goal is to continue to support a wide audience of both learners and educators with these openly licensed materials.
