Abstract: Science is an enduring collective effort, shaped over millennia by contributions from a multitude of cultures and civilizations. However, mainstream historical narratives often spotlight the achievements of select groups, predominantly Eurocentric and male, while underrepresenting the significant contributions from other cultures. This biased portrayal has contributed to ongoing disparities in STEM fields and the marginalization of underrepresented groups, and even further the narrative of the inferior “other”. To address these imbalances, we present a new platform dedicated to highlighting the rich, multicultural history of scientific progress. This platform focuses on bringing forward the contributions of various cultures, including the significant scientific advancements during the Islamic Golden Age, which played a crucial role in leading to the European Renaissance. By doing so, the platform aims to provide a more inclusive and accurate depiction of global scientific development. The platform serves as a valuable resource for educators, researchers, and the general public, promoting an appreciation for the diverse origins of scientific knowledge. By offering this comprehensive view, it seeks to bridge the gap between underrepresented groups and the field of STEM, fostering a more inclusive understanding and participation in science.
