Patricia Udomprasert is a Research Associate with the Science Education Department and the WorldWide Telescope Ambassadors Program at the Center for Astrophysics | Harvard and Smithsonian. She holds a Ph.D. in Astronomy from Caltech and formerly taught high school astronomy, physics, and math at Concord Academy in MA. She leads the design and development of technology-based science curricula for use in formal and informal education environments. Her interests include exploring the use of rich visualizations to support spatial thinking and modeling of complex phenomena, and effective pathways for making meaning from authentic data. She is currently the Science PI for a NASA Science Activation project called Cosmic Storytelling with NASA Data and a team member on the Smithsonian Data Labs project.
