Dr. Christian is the Hubble Space Telescope (HST) Outreach Project Scientist at the Space Telescope Science Institute (STScI). She is the Principal Investigator for the 3DAstronomyPrints project. She originally established the STScI Outreach Office and now serves on the Executive News Team at STScI for HST and the James Webb Space Telescope. (JWST). Dr. Christian is a strong advocate for the involvement of women and under-represented communities in science and creates innovative solutions to outreach and engagement through emerging technologies. She is Co-Investigator on the Career Exploration Lab Program which uses numerous assistive technologies including 3D printing to engage students with blindness/visual impairment in science. Her scientific research involves studies of Star Clusters and Local Group Galaxies
