Charlie Reed is the Supervisory Interpretive Park Ranger at Zion National Park where he manages the Interpretive Branch of the Visitor Services Division. He has worked for the National Park Service for ten years as an Interpretive Park Guide, Astronomy Park Ranger, and now a Supervisory Park Ranger. During this time, he has worked at Carlsbad Caverns National Park, Great Basin National Park, and Zion National Park. Through his time in the National Park Service, he has managed dark sky programing in many forms; from Astronomy festivals to nightly programing for over 200 people to partnering with other organizations outside of the National Park Service to conduct informal dark sky education.
