Marie Drake Planetarium

Rosemary worked at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory for over 20 years, first as a graduate student and then as a staff physicist. After moving to Alaska, she taught physics and astronomy at the University of Alaska Southeast. Now as a board member and volunteer educator with the Marie Drake Planetarium, she offers field trips and transportation to the planetarium for Juneau classrooms and assists with other community offerings. She chairs the Pacific Planetarium Association's Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility Committee and helps coordinate PPA's monthly Planetarian's Zoom Seminar.
