Russell M. Genet is the Director of the Fairborn Institute, a nonprofit organization that supports astronomical research, development, and education. Russ has a BS in electrical engineering and a PhD in astronomy. He pioneered the development of robotic telescopes in the 1980s and initiated the Astronomy Research Seminars that have produced over 200 published papers coauthored by some 700 high school and undergraduate students.
