Camilo Delgado Correal is a physicist from Bogotá, holding a master's degree in astronomy from the National University of Colombia and a PhD in Physics from the University of Ferrara through an Erasmus Mundus program called the International Relativistic Astrophysics Program (IRAP), with a focus on Observational Cosmology for his doctoral studies. He has served as Manager of Basic and Space Sciences at the Ministry of Science, Technology, and Innovation of the Republic of Colombia, a professor of Physics and Astronomy at the Francisco José de Caldas District University of Bogotá, a researcher at the International Center for Physics, and the scientific coordinator of the Bogotá Planetarium, among other roles. Additionally, he served as the co-chair of the Young Academy of Colombia (2023-2024) and co-chair of the Executive Committee WG Junior Members of the International Astronomical Union (IAU) (2021-2024). He is currently the CEO of Energesis - Smart, a temporary professor at the District University FJC, and a temporary researcher at the Agustín Codazzi Geographic Institute (IGAC).
