I am an associate professor of astronomy and physics courses at Grand Rapids Community College in Michigan. I also serve as the Open Educational Resources Coordinator for my institution, and on the Board of Library Directors for the Grand Rapids Public Library. The work I do in these different roles has consistent themes of increasing access anyone seeking knowledge and skills, and this is my north star in the work I choose to take on.
