Allyson Sheffield

Allyson Sheffield is a Professor of Physics and Astronomy at LaGuardia Community College (City University of New York). After receiving her Ph.D. in Astronomy from the University of Virginia, she was a Visiting Professor of Physics and Astronomy at Vassar College and then a Science Fellow at Columbia University before she came to LaGuardia CC. She has been involved with Open Educational Resources since 2018 and is co-author of an OER textbook for Astrobiology.
