Abstract: I'm from Chile, and even when there were about 2 eclipses in a row in my country I wasn't able to see them. I was now finally able to travel to Texas for the total eclipse in April, and it was kind of cloudy and I was scared of suddenly looking directly at the Sun. Of course I wanted to record it as much as possible too. So overall, I was multitasking: looking at the Sun with my eclipse lenses, recording, trying to enjoy it, all at once! I did see the corona and some prominences, but not for long. What struck me the most were my surroundings, how everything went sunset-dark, street lights were turned on, and the color of the sky at 1:40 in the afternoon was shocking.
