Abstract: What started as a way to promote my "own business" related to Astronomy, after having to leave my PhD program, later on became into recording myself talking about the Universe on Instagram's reels. It is challenging to fight against these algorithm, but I have learned so much, I have connected with other astronomers and science communicators, and overall it is a great way for me to be updated on what is going on in Astronomy research. I will talk about what doing social media outreach has given and taught me over the 2.5 years I have been doing it.
