Abstract: Journey to Jupiter was a class project about a hypothetical trip to a place in our solar system. I created this presentation for my astrobiology course, Life in the Cosmos, for instructor Kalée Tock at Stanford Online High School. As an astrobiology student who has long imagined what it would be like to visit a planet in our solar system and beyond when gazing up at the night sky, I reflected upon how I could make information about Jupiter accessible and interesting to an audience of curious and excited students. Through research and discovery, I created fun and informative vacation packages that connected facts about Jupiter and its moons with familiar holiday activities on Earth for potential visitors to consider when making ‘big’ vacation plans.
